Audience Feedback



Here is another form of audience feedback I conducted. I decided again to do one on one feedback as I was able to get in-depth responses stating areas in which I can improve on and develop. Similarly I decided to ask a previous A2 student to come into my media class as I thought they would be able to analyse precise areas of all three parts of my coursework when wanting to receive constructive criticism. Likewise as Max was a previous A2 student he was aware of how to make products successful and what key conventions must be contained in order to produce a successful digipak, magazine advert and music video.

Raw Footage Of Filming



Above portrays my raw footage exported onto Youtube. Due to the definition and size of the file I had to upload it onto Youtube instead of straight onto blogger. This was an easy and straight forward process as I am familar with both Youtube and Premier therefore I already knew what settings to apply when exporting. I have decided to only contain a few shots as I don't want to bore the audience with a range of random footage. Therefore to keep them engaged I made sure that I used my protagonist throughout as she is the main feature of personal identity. This allows the audience to maintain interested as they may be able to make some relation to the artist. Similarly to keep the audience's attention I decided to adapt the the footage on Premier. Adjustments I made consisted of speeding up the footage as this allowed the audience to feel as if they weren't consistently watching the same thing. Lastly getting a range of footage allows the audience to feel like a part of the journey as they are directly watching the transistions of each shot.

All of the above images highlight all photos taken for my digipak, album advert and evidence of filming. Uploading them onto Photoshop was effective as it automated immediately a contact sheet whereby arranging all photos and displaying them on a number of pages. The majority of the photos were used for my digipak and album advert as this part of my coursework required still images rather than moving footage.

Another benefit of displaying my photos in this format includes showing the audience other photos I took as I wasn't able to use every photo. Therefore it conveys a message throughout as the audience are able to interpret my journey and thoughts when taking the images. Additionally it also illustrates different angles and shots of the same photo displaying different interpretations of the same thing.
